How this started
I built the room I wished existed.
I came to business through engineering and an MBA from Duke, which means I tend to ask whether something actually makes sense before I ask whether it sounds good.
I built a home care agency, grew it and sold it. Somewhere along the way I learned how much harder every decision is when you're making it alone, and how much easier it gets when the right people are in the room.
Women running businesses deserve a place to think out loud, get honest answers and meet people who can help. That's what WEN is for. Business may be yours to run. It doesn't have to be yours to figure out alone.
